This water tower says on it "HERSHEY, Chocolate Capital of Canada". Unfortunately, the Hershey factory (see photo here) shut down a year ago and 500 people lost their jobs, which means a lot in this town with a population of 9,000. Additionally, the tourism that this factory brought into the town is now gone. I was here for an audit... learning is one of the reasons I love my job.

Crazy ole' Smiths Falls. There was a friend of ours from High School who was dating a guy from Smiths Falls, almost out entire high school mocked him for being "Chocolate Trash" until she eventually broke up with him after actually seeing his family at "the Falls".
