looks like its time for a walk! winston always jumps, pepinot always barks. the downside of two dogs is you can never get them both to behave...

Joey and I went for lunch in this restaurant called "Baguette et Baguette." It was good, but not as good as my favorite panini from Kilo - with ham, cheese and apples mmmm.

playing a game of settlers of catan with some blurry happy friends...
if my dad had a blog, "bobsmancave.com", would you read it? I sure would.

my collection is growing! someday I will be an 'expert'... thanks to joey, amy, and elyna for getting some of these for me!

it just isn't christmas without a big tree... especially one that might cause you to get in an accident.

family photo time! a little goofy but you can't expect anything else from our family.
today at the post office, the post woman I had never met saw me get some mail from the po box. she then proceeded to comment that if I was picking up my parent's mail, then I should check for the "yellow slip" because they had received a package. they are THAT well known after my friends and family and I have sent 10 or so packages there this last 2 months. love small towns!

the snuggie/slanket. nothing brings family together more!
Happy Thanksgiving.

I love pomegranates. they are like 'healthy' candy. a lot of work for a few minutes of sour.

sad lion, tossed away in the rain... but it was gone before the trash men came.

had to drive to the tip of the island today: some beautiful houses and views of the river (although the street is called Lakeshore Boulevard). a bit of peace in a world of chaos.

a little blurry, these are cupcakes submitted for awards at the cupcake camp in montreal. it was lots of fun! see some photos here: http://www.facebook.com/cupcakecampmontreal

happy day of turkey! celebrated with friends the week before american thanksgiving. cram 20 people in an apartment, add a lot of delicious food and wine, and you have warmth and smiles.

waiting for Don Quixote to start. the last play we saw was much more cultural/historical, but this was whimsical and fun.

this might be "cute". except two weeks ago, walking out of the metro on my way to class, this guy was in the metro freaking out, swearing and walking around, and a girl my age was outside with his dog, which had a blanket tied around his neck with feces on it, and he had feces on his feet. she was on her cell phone. I could not figure out what was going on... but looks like his canine was returned to him.

when I was growing up, my mom never said "when you're old enough you can have nutella for dinner"... thats because she had never introduced me to nutella. also who drinks wine when you have milk? it should be clear at this point that I will never be vegan.

gas is quite high in Montreal today... 1.19 per liter at the cheap station, for you Americans, $4.50 US dollars per gallon. ouch! I feel Americans would be rioting if they had to pay that for gas.

I pass this lovely "graffiti" after class every monday. I love it. My friend used to live in this building. I hate tagging, but I love color and skill. I will take that over boring brick any day.

on the way to pick up Joey's grandmother, the great orange julep... often photographed in Montreal, it is a big orange that is just a fast food joint with an interesting orange drink. I prefer orange julius, but they are similar.

ignore the mess, it is no longer that cluttered. however, check out the christmas decorations... that you all requested to see.
